Stand Up Paddle

If you have never surfed or did back in the day, then Stand Up Paddle (SUP'ing) surfing is for you! Forget all the grovelling around in the white water, paddle in hand it’s easy to power onto all sizes of waves and with a quick change of foot position you're surfing with ease. In your first lesson you'll be piloting the board along the coastline and riding rolling waves. There is nothing more beautiful than gliding over the water as fish and rays swim underneath you.

If big wave surfing is your style, 'Easy', SUP'ing has revolutionized big wave surfing, with the power you generate with the paddle it makes it easy to ride those monsters and surf them like a champ.

Extra Information

Level 1

Learn about your equipment and pick up some basic paddling skills. You'll master the essentials and practice paddling across flat water, making turns and learning how to stay upright.

1 x 1.5hr courses

Level 2

Move on up and find out how to ride small waves, switch feet and keep your balances as you paddle onto waves and make smooth exits. You'll learn how to control the board with your paddle and by moving your weight.

1 x 1.5 hr courses

Level 3

Pick up some advanced skills and move up to larger waves. Use the power of the paddle and learn how to rotate on your fins, move into and float off sections and power into breaking waves with ease.
