8am pick up from the hotel and drive to the Tegenungan Waterfall, which is located about 20 km south east of Ubud.
This beautiful waterfall is surrounded by a tropical forest and the green gardens of the local farmers. From here it takes about 40 minutes by car to the monkey forest, which is located at the centre of Ubud, close to the Ubud market.
In this Forest you will see more than 600 lovely monkeys, which are playing around the sacred temple in the forest. If you want to go shopping, then the car will bring you to the Ubud market and after shopping you have a chance to visit the beautiful Ubud palace just across the road from the Ubud market. This ancient palace was built in the time of the last King of Ubud I Gusti Agung Putu Kandel.
For lunch we offer the delicious local food named Baby Guling in a local restaurant near the Palace. After lunch the car will bring you to Kintamani with a photo stop in Ceking, where you will witness the panoramic view of the unique rice terraces. This small Village is located at the crater slope, from where you can see the magnificent view of the huge crater in which the 1,717m high Batur volcano and the largest crater lake of Bali are located.
After enjoying the beautiful panorama you then proceed to the Gunung Kawi temple in Tampaksiring. At this temple you will see 9 monuments that have existed since the time of Anak Wungsu in the 15th century. They are built to honour the legendary King of Bali named Udayana. To reach the temple, there are more than 300 steps down to the Petanu River, with the beautiful rice terraces on either side of the steps. After visiting the temple you will then return to the hotel
